This past week (Sept 9 – 12), Trystar exhibited for the 5th year in the annual “RE+ Show” in Anaheim CA. Billed as “the largest clean energy event in North America”, the “RE+ Show” annually brings together the people, products, and professional development opportunities that drive the solar and renewable energy market. While the theme of this event continues to be “Renewing What’s Possible”, the show itself is constantly evolving and takes on a different and more exciting vibe each year as the technology behind solar and renewable energy solutions continues to develop and become more mainstream! By incorporating business opportunities and educational content, exhibitors and attendees unite to learn about the latest solar, wind, battery energy storage, EV charging, and microgrid solutions.
Held at the Anaheim Convention Center & Campus in Anaheim CA, this year’s event marked the 20th anniversary of “RE+”, and was the biggest yet! What initially began 20 years ago as “Solar Power International” has evolved into what’s now “RE+” and unites an extensive alliance of renewable energy leaders for multiple days of networking opportunities and the exchange of ideas. Best described as “an experience” within the clean energy industry, the show was complete with educational forums, exhibitors, and other exciting events around the campus. For example, opening night on Sept 9 featured the “Cheers To 20 Years” anniversary party!
“RE+” offers a unique opportunity to explore cutting-edge innovations, and Trystar’s booth visitors were able to get a firsthand look at some of our purpose-built solutions, and meet the team behind these solutions. Several Trystar team members were able to attend “RE+” this year … both to host our booth exhibit and to network among other renewable energy exhibitors and colleagues throughout the Convention Center. Some of the biggest and best takeaways from “RE+ 2024” included the following insights:
- Because data centers are becoming increasingly interested in reducing their power costs, Trystar’s BESS solutions can help reduce grid energy consumption during peak usage times … therefore drastically reducing costs.
- Battery efficiency is the key element that makes a BESS most-valuable to the market.
- Our GridPak stood out as one of the few truly mobile solutions in the photovoltaic (PV) energy market.
- “RE+” opens one’s eyes as to how important it is to NOT always conform to what has been manufactured in the past … in other words, the opportunity to expand one’s mind, conceptualize new designs, and investigate outside-the-box solutions.
- Renewable energy solutions and energy storage systems exist for practically all market segments and scales within the commercial, industrial, and utilities sectors.
