As a leader in precision time solutions for critical power facilities, we’re excited to launch our new “Time Sync Hub” (Models TSH-100 / TSH-200). Manufactured in our Murfreesboro TN location, the “Time Sync Hub” is the latest addition to our Data Center product solutions, which also includes our “SER-32e” Sequence Of Events Recorder.
Modern power monitoring solutions rely on accurate data to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and ensure business performance. The key to accurate data is having all monitored devices aligned to one common time source. Time aligned data ensures that analysis of the power system is based on solid and reliable information. The “Time Sync Hub” provides time synchronization for power system devices such as Sequence Of Events Recorders (SER’s), power meters, protective relays, transfer switches, UPS’s, PLC’s, and other devices used across the power distribution system. The high-resolution data can be used for commissioning, equipment testing, and event reconstruction in the event of a power outage or loss.
Both “Time Sync Hub” models (TSH-100 / TSH-200) receive time input over an Ethernet network using PTP (Precision Time Protocol) or NTP (Network Time Protocol) to provide accurate time and date information essential for time synchronization.
Additionally, both “Time Sync Hub” models output highly accurate time reference signals using standard time protocols (PTP, NTP, IRIG-B, DCF77, 10per10, PPS, ASCII) throughout a substation, campus, or across an entire enterprise.
The TSH-200 adds the ability to receive time input from the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) via a bullet-style GPS antenna, and time input from standard time protocols (IRIG-B, DCF77).
Enhancing our already robust product line, the “Time Sync Hub” builds on the foundation of accuracy among our Precision Timing devices. This product is a great addition to our portfolio, and will be a key component in the time synchronization of power system devices. The “Time Sync Hub” ensures reliability for critical facilities such as data centers, hospitals, and microgrids; as well as for continuous processes such as semiconductor fabrication, pharmaceutical manufacturing, oil/gas refining, and wastewater treatment.
